Necessary materials:
Fabric consumption is given as an example for size 46.
  • Main fabric: !! if some parts can be placed upside down - 135 - 145 cm; !! if the fabric has the direction of the pile or print or assumes adjustment according to the pattern - 210-220 cm or more (depending on the print rapport)
  • Dublerin: same as main fabric
  • Lining: 120−125cm
  • Adhesive binding (you can cut the interlining along the grain): 5p/m
  • Rigid mesh: two pieces 16x100cm
  • Buttons: 5 pcs.
Recommended fabric: Soft tweed or other suiting fabric
Lining: Viscose or polyviscose
Stiff mesh: This is used in wedding dresses to give shape to skirts. Any material will do for the same purposes.
We recommend looking for it in fabric stores, rather than picking up something similar in hardware stores or other stores that are not related to sewing.
Buttons: The usual diameter is about 2.5 cm (in our tutorial, smaller ones were used)
